The Fresno Internship Credential Program (FICP) is an internship program for individuals seeking to obtain their Preliminary Teaching Credential while teaching as the teacher of record in their own classroom. The FICP is fully accredited and upon completion, individuals will be recommended to CCTC for a Preliminary Teaching Credential in their area of coursework.
Our vision is to ensure that every classroom has a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the ability and desire to educate students at a high level. Fresno Unified is committed to building a teaching workforce that reflects the values, linguistic skills, and cultural diversity of the community of students it serves to ensure that students move a minimum of a grade level per year.
