Program Overview
Grow2Teach (G2T) is a program for Fresno Unified’s classified
employees who have a passion to teach. The program support
aspiring teachers in hard to fill areas, where we will give you the
foundations you need to become a successful teacher.

- Monthly professional learning
- Free CBEST/CSET/RICA test preparation
- Academic counseling
- 25 participant cohort
- Cohort model of learning
- Research-based classroom strategies
- Winter and Summer internship opportunities
Program Qualifications
- Hold 80+ units
- Enrolled or eligible to enroll in an accredited university/agency leading to a teaching credential
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA or higher
- Current classified employee
*Grow2Teach offers an annual stipend. Participants will be offered a Fresno Unified teaching contract upon successful completion of the program.
